The case comes in two pieces, a top and bottom, that link in 3 places to form a fairly solid connection. However, I have noticed that on occasion, with a lot of use, the case may slip a bit. With the nature of a phone like the EVO, I can hardly keep my hands of it, I'm nearly using it at least once or twice every hour.The case is soft touch on all sides and gives a good grip. Because of this case, I wasn't too worried when I was hanging over a balcony at my apartment complex testing the 4G signal reception in my area: I knew my phone was not going to slip out my hands. When I first got the holster, I thought it didn't well, as I tried to put the phone in face out. I later read on the review at GoodAndEvo-dot-com that the phone goes face in. With that adjustment, there is a good solid fit into the case and the spring-loaded holster clip is counter-pressured... This is a great case/holster combo.I have the Best Buy Pt version of this Case/Holster Combo. It is identical to the Seidio Case except in branding. Durability/Fit: I have been using it for over 3 months now, absolutely no issues with durability, or case fit in this time. Of note, though, I do not remove and replace the case regularly, I have only had to do this once so far. The case still feels solid, the fit is still tight, and the holster has not given me any problems. I use the case and holster every day. Issue: I have an invisible shield screen protector, and when I first installed the case, it lifted up the corners of the invisishield. When you install your case, you might have to do a tuck maneuver to make sure it doesn't mess with the screen protector. Protection: I have dropped the phone with and without the case on, and it provides adequate protection for about 3-4 foot falls. It... When I got my HTC EVO 4G I was thrilled with the phone but not with my carry options. So when I found this product with mixed reviews, I was willing to give it a try. It works exactly like the holster/case for my BB, fits comfortably on my belt, and is easy to take off and put back on.As mentioned in one other review, the clip rotates (about 180 degrees), but you have to do it firmly and with two hands as it doesn't revolve freely. For me, that's a good thing - I have it sideways on my belt and want it to stay in that position regardless of my orientation. I personally like the face in approach - I've scratched many phones using the face out type holders. I give this 5 stars because I can't think of how this product could or should be improved.
