I have the Apple bumper and even tried to modify it to allow a larger connector. It still does not work as well as this back protected bumper. This feels good in your hand. You can fee confident that it wont be scratched or chipped when placing it on any surface. The front is still exposed just as the original bumper. I bought this after I purchased the Amzer clear cover.
