I received it, tried it, immediately boxed it back up and returned it.Two issues made it impossible for me to use the tank. 1) The vibrate button is deep down inside a hole that I could reach only with a lot of trouble. The hole was also off center with the button. 2) The edges of the screen at the bottom of the phone were almost impossible to use as the case came too close and did not taper away. I thought maybe these two problems were caused by my improper positioning of the phone inside the case, so I tried taking the phone out and repositioning several times, then gave up as it didn't help. I also think that the sliding screen is more hype than real. It flexes and is not rigid as I thought from the video. I think it would provide more protection than not having it, but not the protection the advertising led to believe. Something hitting it would still shove the plastic against the... The sliding screen is strong but it flexes enough that anything significantly heavy were to impact it the screen just seems sure to crack. Of course I am not going to test whether it would truly happen but the give in the screen protector allows it to impact the scree even under mild finger pressure and so it stands to reason that dropping a bunch tools on the case might not break the case itself but I would think the screen wouldn't survive.Update: 12/19/2011 - Case fell from about 3 feet high and cracked in 2 places. I have submitted a warranty request to Case Mate to see what they say. It's very rare that anything I order is exactly what I expected. The case is pleasant to hold and doesn't get in the way of any iPhone functions even though the buttons are protected. There are little flaps that protect the headphone jack and the charging port from foreign matter. A sturdy belt-clip holster is included.I don't like stick-on screen protectors so the sliding screen is perfect for me. You open and close it by sliding a tab on the back of the phone. I wonder how long it will last because screens like that tend to fatigue and break, but it's modular and it's likely that you can get a new one if and when necessary. As far as surviving the tests shown on the website, I'm also skeptical but I really don't care because all I need is protection from day-to-day bumps and scratches.
