I had considered other cases but often heard complaints about it not fitting well. This cover comes in 2 pieces which lock tightly around the phone. So tightly in fact that when I first put it on it was slightly ajar, I was thinking this is a terrible fit! It only needed a gently squeeze and it popped into place, fitting tightly around the screen. It protects the sides and back of the phone very well. With the old phone the cover sheen did 'peel' after months of use. But that was ok with me, I left it since it made my pristine phone look old on the outside. Was hoping it would be less likely to get stolen. Side note: I totally recommend buying a cover for your phone and if you do, buy something with color.
